About

Olafur was born in Reykjavik, Iceland on January 13, 1993.  He grew up in New York, spending summers in Iceland.  He's a graduate of Trevor Day School and Yale College, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2015.  He is the illustrator of Almanakið (Veröld, 2015), a poetry collection authored by his father, Olafur Johann Olafsson, Sr.

Olafur began painting in high school and studied painting at Yale.  He currently resides in New York City
